God's Promises to Israel
Given the current situation in the Middle East, let us be reminded by the Scriptures of God's commitment to His people Israel.
Here are some key Scripture references that highlight God's protection:
Psalm 121:4 "Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God."
Jeremiah 31:10 "Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.'"
Zechariah 2:8 "For thus says the LORD of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye."
Romans 11:1 "I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin."
Salvation Available to Everyone
Let us pray fervently for the salvation of both Jews (Romans 10:1) and Arabs (Acts 10:34-36; 2 Peter 3:9).
Romans 10:12 declares, "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him."
Salvation is available to all who believe in Jesus, regardless of their background or heritage.
May everyone come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and experience the transforming power of His love (Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Do Not Worry
In these times of uncertainty, take comfort in the promise of Christ's future reign over all nations.
As prophesied in Isaiah 2:4, "He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."
May we also find comfort in the words of Jesus, in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Let this assurance bring peace to your heart today and always.
May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you.
